Wolfman Fitness and Starters FA have been working together on Youth football projects since 2022. We have partnered on football coaching, fitness sessions and testing, holiday camps, pre season training and most recently a Strength and Conditioning programme.
Rather than focussing on just fitness for football, we actively encourage and promote treating fitness, strength and condition as a base, or springboard for all future sporting endeavours. The football focus comes in once a baseline is established, and then the two help to develop the other.
This approach means that regardless of whether a young person remains in football at any level, they will have the foundations to maintain a healthy active lifestyle into the future. Thus promoting a much better mindset, as well as potentially creating stronger more resilient individuals.
